# Mellanox ConnectX®-5 Card Installation

ConnectX®-5 is an Ethernet PCI express adaptor.

Currently, only video input is supported in Reality, which means, AJA video card is also required to get video output. As we recommend installing AJA video I/O on PIC express slot no. 5, ConnectX® - 5 must be installed on PCI express slot 3 as shown in the image below.

The below image shows the motherboard marked with **Slot 1 (for GPU), Slot 3 (for ConnectX®-5), and Slot 5 (for AJA video I/O).**

Once the hardware is installed, the configuration of this hardware is necessary.

* This AJA video card can also be used for additional input and output in combination with IP input.
