This guide shows the steps for downloading and installing Nvidia drivers on Windows OS.

Downloading the proper NVIDIA driver

Go to the , download and install the recommended NVIDIA GPU driver. In the NVIDIA Driver Downloads Option 1 section, choose your GPU model and other fields and click on Beta and Older Drivers.

Choose your product and click SEARCH

You will see a list of available drivers below, please select 472.39 as the recommended version of the NVIDIA drivers for Reality Engine. Please click on the DOWNLOAD button and make sure that the driver executable file is properly downloaded on your computer.

After downloading the driver, install the driver on your computer by following the instructions.

Installation Options

Select Custom (Advanced)

Custom Installation Options

Check, Perform a clean installation.

Restart your computer to apply all the settings.

Manage NVIDIA Settings on NVIDIA Control Panel

Once the driver is properly downloaded and installed on your computer through the HP Performance Advisor tool, right-click on the Windows Desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.

Click on MANAGE 3D SETTINGS, and change the POWER MANAGEMENT MODE feature to Prefer Maximum Performance as shown below.

Click APPLY and close the NVIDIA Control Panel.
